Selfpublished with a limited run of only 3000 copies, the result is a visual feast of experimental design and extensive print techniques. It showcases over 250 pages of exciting print design on nine unique paper stocks, utilizing over 40 print finishes, including rub and reveal heat sensitive ink, hot foils, scratch off inks, matte laminates and hi-build gloss varnishes. Self-publishing the book has allowed us to retain the integrity of what Noise stands for. Moreover, no publisher would go near a book of this nature, because the high production levels make it a commercial impossibility.”
Since its first appearance in 1995, Noise has gone on to wide acclaim. NoiseFour occupies a place in the permanent collection of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and it was sold in 15.000 copies in 90 countries.
